LiPengfei: Hello CJC

  Prelude
25th Feb. 2011
Stepped in CJC, it was like in the MOE some months ago, which we have ever gone to only once. The open gates of the school, delicate and bright hall, and staircases, all seemed to be hospitable and welcoming. Light blue school uniforms were ubiquitous but ordered.
A little tired but excited, we went in, expecting the ones we would meet, curious and unable to wait.

Later came our buddies, with different appearances, various accents (actually all are Singaporean accents), and different feelings they gave to all of us. After a short talk and a brief campus tour, the principle and vice principle addressed us and wished us a good time here. What the future would hold? We were supposed to give answers.

Chapter 1: The first day of school
Waiting at the canteen, we were eager to find out what was going to take place, sleepy, but excited.

The silent square, gradually filled with people, with noises from the music, and also from the students, announced the beginning of the day, as well as the beginning of our JC experience.

Listening to the words in the scripture, I had a different feeling about religion, it was not about whether I believe it or not, but was about the spiritual power of religions to influence people. Let’s see what we had:

Math and Chemistry lectures

Math tutorial and GP and Economics
The most thrilling thing was the long distance running, which was the preparation for the X-country in the Wednesday. Did not want to be disgraced as Chinese, we fought for our glories…

But there was always s (omeone interesting and was not so harmonious…)

It was a tiring but satisfactory day for me with so many new friends I made. And actually it is really nice to be minorities in a new group of people, enjoying talking with others, although sometimes it is just a bit difficult to communicate of course… But it is not a very big problem, time will work this out. Same words, let’s see what the future will hold.

Hello, CJC.
