The first week in CJC

The first week in CJC
At first, I think should introduce my buddy to you. This is my buddy Rayner, and his Chinese name is 光耀. What a cool name! (Let me think about the first president of Singapore.) We had a nice week together and he cared about almost everything of me in CJC. I think I should thank him for his meticulous care in CJC. Next week, he will have an examination before recess week. Good luck, Rayner. Good luck, every student of CJC.
Although I have been in CJC for only one week, I found a lot of differences between the schools of Singapore and China.
Firstly, the flag-raising ceremony is different from China. They have the flag-raising ceremony everyday. Before they raise the flag of Singapore, some students on the platform teach some important knowledge from Scripture. In my point of view, this is a good way to teach the students the ethic and principle of being a good person. In China, some schools even don’t have a flag-raising ceremony every week. I think we should think about the reason why the quantity of people in China is low from the small things in schools and society.

Secondly, the PE (Physical Education) class of CJC shocked me last week. To tell you the truth, I have never run more than 3km in China. The first PE class on Monday was such a big challenge for me. We should run 4 times around CJC and there are small hills in process. It was a uncomfortable process while I was running. When I climb on the hills, I nearly used up all my power and energy. Rayner encouraged me and many classmates inspired me. Our leader ran with me. I finished my 4.2km running in the end. The process was really hard but I insisted.
In the first week of CJC, I have learned so many things from my buddy and classmates. In the end, I want to thank Rayner and our classmates for your care and good luck in the examination next week.
